The u3a strap line is Learn, Laugh, Live. We at Branston & District u3a believe we represent these qualities. We offer a very varied set of groups from Educational, Physical and Social.
Membership to the u3a is for people who have left full time employment and are enjoying their “Third Age”.

We have four levels of membership as below:
Individual - £13 for year 2026-27
Joint – Two people living at the same address - £24.50 for year 2026-27
Associate – A member of another u3a who wishes to join multiple groups - £7 for year 2026-27
Honorary – A member of another u3a who only wishes to join one group - £2 for year 2026-27

All the groups displayed on the Groups page have links to the group convenors so that you can contact them directly to discuss the aims of the groups along with venues and dates.
Of course if you have experience or knowledge of a subject you think may be of interest to our membership we can assist you in starting a group
At the monthly meetings held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Branston Village Hall at 2 pm, we have a guest speaker with refreshments provided. Entry is £2 for members and £3 for non-members. At the meeting all our group pages are displayed for you to peruse and many of the group leaders are there to give any assistance you may require.
Come and visit us. We have a “try before you buy” policy that allows you to visit a group or the monthly meetings twice before deciding if you wish to join us.
